Reflections – Your Oasis of Luxury in Nairobi

Welcome to the inaugural edition of ‘Reflections,’ where we invite you to step into the world of opulence and style. Located in the heart of Nairobi, Kenya, Reflections is not just a residential suburb; it’s an exclusive sanctuary for those who demand sophistication.

Let’s take you through a pictorial walk through of the space.

1. The Dining & Living Area

Below is the glimpse of the foyer, dining area and living area spaces (respectively). The dining area and the foyer have been divided by a wall whereas the dining and living area spaces have been separated by the TV unit.  The TV unit doesn’t feel too enclosed as we have added open shelving that can also serve as a display unit visible on both sides.

2. The Main Kitchen

Below is the main kitchen, we have mostly used a wood look finish to compliment with the other spaces and a marble look top to elevate the design and functionality. Fitted with all the appliances required,  we designed it in a way that showcases clean lines, organization and hides clutter, hence why we’ve kept the fridge in built as you’ll see in the video (the video link is at the end of this article).

The top cabinets have a concrete look finish to break the monotony, this space looks like it’s framed with grey lining. It captures our exceptional attention to details. To give more kitchen space, we designed the space incorporating a scullery for the heavy cooking and cleaning of utensils.

3. The Indoor Garden

As you walk towards the guest bedroom, you pass across this Zen inspired indoor garden with a double volume height, which is one of the main features and selling point of this villa. We’ve planted a fig tree as it requires low maintenance and low light, incorporating a biophilic design in the space that not only creates a focal point but purifies the air. The boulders and concrete steps with pebbles give a Zen Japanese vibe, not forgetting the way the ceiling design connects well with the door. This is a statement that encapsulates the opulence of the home.

4. The Staircase

Moving onto the second floor, of course we have to access the staircase in which we’ve finished in a marble look dekton. It’s mostly white with streaks of veins of brown , just to harmonize with the other spaces. The balustrade is glass to create a more open feeling with the same anthracite detail bolt support, and the handrail in wood. This staircase design is definitely timeless, it’s coupled with the slats detail for support and add an aesthetic look.

5. Bedrooms

Transforming bedrooms into reflections of luxury, we’ve adorned them with grand, LED-lit mirrors. These mirrors serve a dual purpose; enhancing functionality and the room’s aesthetics, ensuring that every glance is a captivating experience.

When you enter the master bedroom, it’s not just a common corridor but it has the wardrobe that flanks on both sides ample enough for him and her (check this out on the video below). As you walk along, it’s not the usual bed that will greet you, but the dresser. This is also custom made and as you can see, it’s a bit see through with the use of slats and a massive mirror with the lights changeable as per the owner’s liking. Opposite this wall is the vanity unit for his and hers as well (the photo cuts one side of the vanity).

6. The Study Area

A corner nook on the second floor is allocated as a study for the kids. The simplicity in design ties with the contemporary design flow in the home. The space gives a sense of privacy suitable and functional for reading.
A greenery view can be seen through the balcony tieing the space with nature.

That was just a pictorial glimpse of the space, have a general view of the space before furnishing in the video below.

Once the project is furnished we’ll notify you as well.

Thank You!
